Progressive lifejacket commercial

There was a progressive commercial involving a boyfriend and girlfriend. There were challenge flags. Both thought that the other had packed life jackets for a trip, but neither one did. The challenge flag was thrown. There were two versions of the commercial. One had the girlfriend being wrong and being embarrassed. The second had the boyfriend being wrong and the girlfriend embarrassed him about it. In both commercials, the girlfriend came off as kind of a bitch, whether or not this was the intention.

This commercial garnered a lot of attention. People felt sorry for the boyfriend for having to put up with the bitchy girlfriend. Lots of guys could relate to this as well. The company received so many comments on the commercial that they decided that they would shoot a second commercial where the boyfriend was allowed to get revenge on his girlfriend.

This time the challenge flag was thrown again. The beginning of the commercial was basically exactly the same as the previous one had been. This time however, when the replay was played and the results were announce, the referee would announce the penalty on the girlfriend. Her eyes widened. The referee said that the penalty for the girlfriend would be three buckets of chilli.

She was then marched over to a camping chair and sat down. The boyfriend was then given a large bucket of chilli. The boyfriend gave a slight smirk, but did not dare show his pleasure because he knew he would be suffering for this for a long time to come. The referee then stated that the penalty was to be accessed on her head. The boyfriend was signalled and he began to dump the chilli over his girlfriend. First, he pulled her hat off so she could not use it to shield herself in any way from the chilli.

She looked straight ahead and crossed her arms, trying not to show any reaction. Her neck pulled forward when she felt the wave of chilli pouring straight down over her. It fell all over her head and down her body. Some of the lumpier bits fell into her lap and settled there, some rolled down her legs, down her calves all the way to her socks. Everything was silent as the chilli splattered her all over.

The boyfriend then took his time, adding the next two buckets of chilli to her. By this time she was covered in it. Loads of it gathered on her chair and in her lap, on her shorts in particular and under her legs and behind. She could feel chilli running all over her body from head to toe. Her face and hair were soaked in it. A close up was shown of mounds of the meat and beans sticking to her face, on her nose, mouth and forehead, before falling down. There was a close up of chilli running down her calves to the ground. The boyfriend even used his hands to rub some of the thick chilli around on her face and hair.

Eventually, when it was all over, she stood up and shrugged. She said her line from the previous commercial,” Well this is embarrassing.” “Yeah a little bit,” the boyfriend replied.
