Josie Bissett Melrose mess

Josie Bissett was one of the stars of Melrose Place. She played Jane. Jane was someone who was manipulated a lot from time to time. She had rivalries over her ex-husband with her sister and with Marcia Cross’ character. The storylines got quite wild and crazy at times.

There was a scene at the wedding reception for her sister Sydney and her ex-husband. Jane decided to crash the reception. They were just about to cut the wedding cake when Jane stormed in the reception hall. “Jane, I am so glad you decided to join us.” “I am not hear to join you. I am here to tell everyone what a farce this whole things is.” “In that case, you are not welcome here. You can get out now.” “Oh I am going, but not before I tell everyone a few truths about you and this sham of a wedding.”

She went to grab the microphone from Sydney. Sydney tried to pull it away from her. The two struggled with it. Everyone was shocked at what they were witnessing. Sydney then pulled the cord of microphone. Jane went flying face first into the wedding cake. She came up completely covered in frosting and cake. “My cake, my beautiful wedding cake. You ruined it. You witch, you ruined everything.” She then took handfuls of the cake and threw them at Jane. Jane was still fumbling about in the cake. She tried to throw some of it at Sydney as well.

The two ladies were standing at the end of the buffet table where all the food was for the wedding. Sydney looked over and smiled. She grabbed the punch bowl and poured it all over Jane. The punch splashed everywhere, staining Jane’s white pants suit in the process. Sydney then took a catering dish of rigatoni and sauce and dumped it over Jane’s head. It was thick and gloppy. It smelled revolting. “Let me treat you to some of the wedding feast,” Sydney shouted.

She then dumped catering trays of Mexican rice and beans over Jane. She then pushed her face into the catering tray filled with chicken in sauce. The food ran all over Jane’s head and body. Her clothes were covered in crud. Jane could not help but laugh a little, knowing that this was ruining her sister’s wedding.

Sydney then threw salads and shrimp cocktails at Jane. She flung them her way. They were soon strewn all over her. Jane was, furious that her sister had gotten the better of her, but at least the wedding reception was ruined.

Jane then ran at Sydney and the two began to struggle again. They tumbled through the door and outside to the pool area. Then came a very famous scene where they both fell into the swimming pool.
