Mina Kimes that look

Mina Kimes was a relative newcomer to Around the Horn. She was quite young and relatively attractive. There were quite a few of the male sports journalists who found her quite attractive. She was involved in a lot of teasing back and forth. It was good natured and also involved quite a lot of flirting. She had a really sexy smile and laugh that she always flashed after she said something amusing or clever. It was quite cute and sexy. Mina did not see herself as being attractive or even as a television star. She saw herself as a journalist. She was not a very serious person though, she had a great sense of humour. She was a very humble and easy going person. 

Mina was very partial to Seattle and the teams from that area. She was always talking about the Seahawks. As a part of one of the ESPN shows, she made a bet on the outcome of the opening game of the NFL season. It pitted the Seahawks against the Packers. The Seahawks seemed to always play well against Green Bay even though both teams were always among the best in the NFC. Mina was very confident that her team would win this game and made that obvious because she could not stop bragging about it. One of the other journalists on Around the Horn was a Packers supporter. Banter began between the two and it led to a good natured bet.  It was actually, Mina’s idea to take the bet to the next level. She really wanted to get the chance to dump something messy over her colleague’s head. She was sort of attracted to him as well, so she would get a perverse kick out of doing it to them. Stemming from this, Mina came up with the idea that if her team won, she would get to dump Seattle themed, green and blue mess complete with fishy mess on her opponent. Of course, he would have to get to do something similar if his team won. He would get to dump green and yellow mess upon her including Packers cheese themed mess if his team won. One of the two would be humiliated on national television. Mina really wanted to be the winner of this and not the unlucky one on the receiving end. It was a pretty even matchup though, so it could have easily gone either way. She fantasised the whole week about getting to mess her opponent. She bragged about how amazing it would be to do this to him. She would talk like it was a foregone conclusion. She would say things like,” And it’s going be almost as fun as when I am dumping sloppy messy fish mess all over your head when my Seahawks get the win on Sunday.” She was quite insistent on keeping this sort of banter up throughout the week. She would even display the mess and tell everyone how great it would be when she was pouring it over her opponent’s head.

Unfortunately for her, her pride came before her fall. Her team ended up, in fact, losing a close game to the Packers because their offence was very poor. It was a pretty close game, but her team, ultimately, ended up on the losing end. She could not believe it. She was wearing a Seahawks jersey. She could only laugh and look embarrassed as the clock ran out and her fate was sealed. She rolled her eyes and laughed. She was not too upset about it, but really played it up, embarrassing as it was going to be. She rolled her eyes a lot and gave the funny laughing face that she made so often. She was asked to take a seat in the studio and await her fate. She crossed her arms as her opponent approached.

He was carrying the dark green and yellow mess. It was filled with all sorts of cheese. She looked up at him and said, “Oh, just get on with it. Don’t drag this out,” she joked. She looked down and then made a panicky face. She shook her head and then looked up as he began to pour the sloppy mess over her head. She closed her eyes as layers of green and yellow cheese mess poured down on her. It was filled with lumps of cheese. She would hear jokes for ages that she was a different kind of cheese head. Her opponent happily poured the thick mess over her. It poured all over her face and over her dark hair. It poured down her nose and over her cheeks. More dripped from her nose and chin. Mina was getting a good taste of the Packers’ colours. She was getting covered in them from head to toe.

Mina sat as the sloppy mess was dispatched all over. She gripped her seat and closed her eyes as globs of mess plopped over her face and body. It streaked all over her. When the mess had finished pouring, she was covered in green and yellow mess. “It’s so unfair,” she joked,” This was not supposed to happen. I was supposed to get to dump mess on your head.”

She did take it well though, she smiled and laughed as the segment ended. She also allowed for the clip to be shown at the beginning of Monday’s around the horn episode. She just shrugged her shoulders and said that she lost and took her messing as best she could.
