London Pulse vs. Celtic Dragons 2020
London Pulse were playing Celtic Dragons in the early stages
of the Vitality Netball Superleague season. The two teams were rivals and it
looked to be a closely played and highly contested matchup. They seemed to be
pretty evenly matched. Pulse had a better record, but all of matches had been
pretty close this far in the season. Before the match, the Pulse players were
getting pretty full of themselves before the game. They told everyone that they
were sure that they were going to win the match and that Celtic was not a very
good team. The Dragons players became a bit annoyed at this assertion and began
to defend themselves and their team’s honour. Of course, most of this was
taking place on social media, where people can sometimes be much braver than
they would be otherwise. The two teams went back and forth at one another. The
Pulse players insisted that they were going to embarrass the Dragons in the
game. They told them that they were going to trash them in front of their home
crowd. The Dragons players were annoyed by this. Pulse may have had a few wins
under their belt, but they were not that much better than anyone else.
Eventually, it came to pass that the Pulse players told the Celtic players that
they were so certain that they would win the match that they would put a wager
on the game if Celtic would be willing to agree. The Dragons players felt that
they had no option but to agree or they would look like they knew that they
were going to lose the game.
“How about this for a wager, if we win we get to
literally trash your team in front of everyone after the game.” “What does that
mean?,” one of the players asked. “Well, if you are so confident you won’t need
to find out. It means just that, if we win, we will get to trash you in front
of everyone. We will get to pour trash all over you if you lose.” “Well, if we
win, that means we will get to do that to your team as well then?.” They
replied. They all agreed to the bet. The Pulse players then posted everywhere,”
Come and see us trash Celtic. They posted photos of trash cans and trash bags
full of rubbish saying that this was what the Celtic players had to look
forward to when they played Pulse. “You better be ready to get messy ladies,
because we are going to kick your asses this week,” they posted.
The game was televised on Sky Sports. The commentators told
everyone watching at home about the special stipulation that would be taking
place. There would be a forfeit for the losing team. This caused a spike in the
ratings for the telecast. Everyone wanted to see one of the teams get trashed.
The game started out very close. It was a virtual tie after one quarter. At
halftime, the score was still very close at 28-22. It looked like it would be a
close match up until the end. Something happened in the second half though.
Pulse was true to their word, they began to pull away from Dragons. They piled
up the points and began to blow Celtic out of the building.
As this went on, the Pulse players began to tease and taunt
the Dragons players about what was going to happen after the match. Individual
players teased their opponents on the other side. They told them that they
could not wait to dump rubbish all over them. They said that they could not
wait to see what they looked like covered in sloppy garbage. This did not help
things for Celtic as it only served to distract them, which caused them to play
even worse. “You’re whole team is going to get covered in trash.” “I am going
to love dumping trash all over you.” Certain players had more taunts directed
at them as they were some of the players that Pulse wanted to get messy the
most. These included Amy Clinton, Shona O’Dwyer, Paige Kindred and Laura Burton
especially. “This is going to go all over social media,” they teased. “Filthy,
disgusting trash all over those Dragons asses.”
The game was a complete blow out. The final score was 69 to
38. This was an extremely embarrassing loss for Dragons. The crowd erupted at
the final bell. They were going to see their team embarrass the visiting team.
After the game, they shook hands and followed protocol for the end of the
match, but it was then time for the moment that everyone had been looking
forward to in a big way.
The captain of Pulse got on the microphone. “Well, we just
kicked the Dragons bums for everyone to see. Now, as you may all know, there
was a little bet that we made before the match. We won and they lost. So, that
means that we are now going to get to trash the losers for everyone to see.
Everyone
get out their cameras. Commiserations ladies, but get your asses out here.” The
players had no choice but to come to midcourt. Some chairs were brought out for
each one to sit on in line with each other. The Pulse players then took their
places standing behind their counterpart on the other team. For example, Amy
Clinton was a shooter. Stood behind her was the woman who had defended her
during the match. This allowed the players to get to embarrass the player who
they were in direct competition with. This only added to the humiliation of the
situation and to the enjoyment of the Pulse players.
Each of the Pulse players was then handed a trash bag filled
with real food waste from the arena and from nearby cafes and restaurants. It
was all saved up especially for the Dragons players. Amy, Shona, Paige and
Laura were sat in the most prominent positions because they were the players
that Pulse wanted to trash the most. The Celtic players looked very nervous.
Amy looked behind her and begged the defender not to do this. She blushed and
grimaced. She was going to get mess all over her long legs and attractive body.
Paige was laughing more in embarrassment. Shona cowered. She was quite shy and
she was about to get covered in sloppy mess in front of the whole world. Laura
was also sweating it out.
“Ok, if everyone is ready. It is time for the moment that we
have all been waiting for. This is going to be amazing. Audience, I will get in
position. If you start counting down from three. It will then be trash time.”
She got into position as they began to count down. The Celtic players held
hands and grimaced. They could not believe that this was about to happen. The
countdown then began as the ladies opened their bags. They turned up their
noses and waived their hands when they smelled the contents of the trash bags,
but that trash was about to be poured all over each of the Celtic Dragons
players.
They started from three. “Three…two…one.” The Pulse players
lifted their bags and began to pour the trash within onto the heads and bodies
of their fallen opponents. Everyone cheered as the first wave of garbage fell
from the bags and landed all over the Celtic Dragons players. Each of them
grimacing as the foul smelling food waste fell onto them. Blobs of darkly
coloured slop fell all over each one of them. It poured onto their heads and
all over their bodies. Their green netball dresses getting stained with greasy
slimy food waste.
Layers fell all over Amy Clinton’s long legs and arms. Blobs
stuck to her hair and face. She stuck her tongue out and shook her head. Her
mess was quite brown, orange and dirty. Mess stuck all over Shona O’Dwyer’s
ginger hair and all over her chest and pale legs. Blobs stuck all over her. She
could feel a wave of embarrassment rush through her body as bits of discarded
food were dispersed all over her. Paige Kindred had more slimy runny mess
poured all over her thick legs and blonde hair. It poured down her shoulders
and back and onto her behind as well. Laura Burton was covered in mounds of
slop from head to toe. She was dying of embarrassment.
After the bags were emptied, the winning coach was given a
garbage can filled with more food rubbish. She tipped it over the player on the
end of the line and then moved it along dumping some over each and every player
on the team. When it was finished, they were covered from head to toe in
rubbish. The winners took tons of pictures including selfies. They posted these
everywhere with filters and captions. They said things such as “Trashed”,
“Celtic get trashed”, “How embarrassing” “You got trashed”, “I trashed Amy
Clinton” etc.
The captain then spoke up again,” Let’s hear it for the
Dragons. They were good sports. They are going to need to hit the showers. Rub
a dub dub ladies.” They indeed then had to spend a long time together in the
communal showers scrubbing the slop from their sweaty bodies. That would have
been a sight to behold as well.
