Ellie Kemper Erin Hannon
Ellie Kemper played the role of Erin Hannon on the Office.
Her character was small at first, but as time went on, she was featured more
and more. She proved that she could be really funny. Her character was sweet
and very cute as well. Her character had a really good heart. She was a lovely
person who always meant well. She was also a character that was really easy
going and could be ordered around a lot.
There was an episode where there was an office party. A lot
of times on the office, parties were quite controversial. There was a party
planning committee and lots of arguing that would usually take place. Things
would always go wrong and there would be many mishaps along the way. On this
particular episode, there was an argument over whether the party should take
place at all. There were two sides arguing back and forth. Of course Angela was
on one side. As a part of all of this, one person would order Erin to get
something or to put some decorations up for example only for her to be told to
take what she had back and so forth.
It started out with a punch bowl. Andy had asked Erin to get
a large bowl of punch. Erin complied. When she brought it into the meeting
room, Angela saw her. She told her that she must get rid of it because it was
no longer required. Andy told her, not to, because it was still needed. The two
argued. They each insisted. They both tried to grab the bowl at the same time.
It flew up and as a result, the punch went flying all over Erin soaking her.
Angela and Andy looked at one another. Angela shook her head and said,” Now
look what you did.” She then walked off. Erin made a funny face as she was
known for doing. Her mouth fell open and her eyes bugged out. Her top, hair and
face were soaked in the punch. Andy apologized and then asked Erin to bring in
the meat platter.
Erin went and got this. It was very large and filled with lunch
meat, cheese and other types of things such as tuna fish, mustard, Russian
dressing and ranch sauce. It was comically oversized. Erin struggled not to
drop it as she teetered into the office going towards the assembly room. At
this time, the other two were in the room arguing again. Just as Erin was
walking towards the door, Angela came out. She did not look where she was
going, because she was so angry. Erin saw her coming. Erin staggered backwards
and fell back. The entire tray tipped over and the contents fell all over Erin.
She was covered from head to toe in the stuff from the platter. Angela looked
down at her. “You should be more careful. We don’t need that anyway. The party
is off,” she exclaimed. Erin picked bits of ham and roast beef off of her face
and hair. Andy came out and looked down at her. He was so annoyed with Angela
that he did not even mention the meat tray. He just asked Erin to get the salad
tray.
The salad tray was just as large as the meat one. It had
lettuce and tomatoes along with other salad items, but also had items such as
dressing, potato salad, pasta salad and egg salad. This time Andy and Angela
were arguing in the office again when Erin stumbled in. She made it further
this time. She awkwardly reached for the door. This time Andy came storming
out. The door hit the platter and it fell all over Erin’s head and body. It was
much messier than the last one. Erin was now covered in the various salads.
Erin was shown at a sink in the bathroom, trying to wipe her
face with a wet paper towel. She was messy and dishevelled. She talked to the
camera. “It just hasn’t been my day. I guess I am just a bit of a clutz. I am
so clumsy and accident prone. People always say that and laugh. But, hey, it’s
going to be a great party.” She picked some pasta salad from out of her shirt.
It was funny, but also tragic as well. It was clear that she was not clumsy and
that the fault lay in others who were taking advantage of her good nature to
some degree. “Hey, there is a stack of pies I have to go get now. What could go
wrong?”
Erin was next seen carrying a pile of various pies and
cakes. They were piled up over her head. She couldn’t really see where she was
going. As she made her way from the elevator, there kept being obstacles in her
path. She would keep almost tripping or falling. She would regain her balance
at the last minute. There were things placed in the path that were done for
comic effect, but she kept successfully managing to avoid them. She even
managed to open the door to the conference room. She slowly made her way
inside. She was very tense and nervous. Then, just as she was about to place
the pies on the table, just as she took a deep breath, Dwight barged in the
room sounding a very loud bull horn. This made Erin jump. She fell backwards
and the pies fell all over her, smashing all over the place. She sat on ground.
She threw her hands up. The episode ended as she rolled her eyes and exclaimed,”Son
of a,..”
Great stuff! Would love another story with Ellie as Kimmy Schmidt, along with Jane Krakowski as Jacqueline.
