Natasha Bedingfield egg nogged

Natasha Bedingfield had a few really big singles in her career. Unfortunately, she had not had a hit in years. She had not really gotten very rich off of her music and her star was fading quite a bit. She was offered an appearance on a fun variety show that sometimes included mess. She decided to do it for the payday. It was a lot of money for only a few minutes work.  It was a Christmas special, as luck would have it.

On the show, they had a game where the contestants had to guess who the artist was singing a song. In this case the artists were there. If the contestant could name the artist, the artist would be fine. If they did not guess correctly, however, a messy substance would fall all over the artist, in this case, Natasha Bedingfield.

Natasha wore a sleeveless green top similar to the one that she wore in the Unwritten video. It was also revealed that the substance above her was, to celebrate the holidays, egg nog.  Natasha was praying that the person was able to identify who she was. She had some pretty big hits in her time, but that was quite a few years earlier at this point. The person guessing was a younger person as well, who may not have been familiar with music from that period.

Natasha was revealed to the audience. Her name was below her. Above her was the tank of festive egg nog. She looked up and gave a pouty face. She then laughed. The contestant could not see her. They were sat in a soundproof booth next to Natasha. The host then again explained how the game worked. Natasha’s biggest hit was then played for everyone to hear. When the clip stopped, the contestant was then asked to guess who the singer was. They guessed Adele. The host looked at them like they were crazy. “That’s you final answer?,” they asked. The contestant replied that it was.

The host then said,” Of course, I can confirm that you are, of course, wrong.” Natasha was then revealed. She was a bit embarrassed that the person could not identify her. She would be more embarrassed by the egg nog. She pointed and shook her head at the contestant.

Her whole body then contracted as the egg nog began to dump all over her. She screamed and closed her eyes as it poured over her head, coating her hair and face and poured down her shoulders and chest. It poured all over her green top. She was soon completely coated in the thick, festive drink. She closed her eyes as it poured down all over her face and body. She was completely coated in it.

She shrugged her shoulders and made a distressed face as her tank turned around. The whole thing was pretty embarrassing. She did find it fun on some level, but it seemed that part of the joke was that she was no longer that famous.
